Thunkable is a no-code development platform[2] where people can create mobile apps for iOS[lower-alpha 1] and Android, as well as web apps. It was founded in 2015 by Arun Saigal and WeiHua Li. It has two versions, the original "Thunkable Classic"[lower-alpha 2] and the newer "Thunkable X" which has two interfaces, Snap to Place (StP) and Drag & Drop (DnD).
Thunkable is based on the App Inventor project, which began at Google Research and MIT (as of 2010). Thunkable's founders worked on App Inventor as MIT students.[4]
Thunkable has its headquarters in San Francisco, California.[4]
