Patrick Lacey, known online as TierZoo is a YouTuber who focuses on ranking animals in Tier lists and commenting on the natural world as if it were a video game.[2]

The style used by Lacey within the channel is based on Outside, a reddit group that discusses real life as if it were a video game.[3] Commentary on the videos of the channel generally regards them as effective educational tools due to their focus on interspersing comedy within factual commentary.[4] His style of commentary has been regarded as especially effective in attracting gamers to his videos, as he uses gaming terminology within them.[5]
