Tiffany Clare
Tiffany Clare is an author of historical romance novels. Her books are set in the Victorian era and published by St. Martin’s Press. She currently lives in Toronto.
Work[edit]
Her debut novel, The Surrender of a Lady (2010), was selected a “Top Pick!” by RT Book Reviews, and was nominated for a 2010 RT Reviewers’ Choice Award for First Historical Romance.[1] Booklist called Surrender "a lushly written, lusciously sensual debut."[2] Publishers Weekly felt that the novel was an "incoherent debut."[3]
Her second novel, The Seduction of His Wife (2011), was also named a “Top Pick!” and has been nominated for Best British Isle-set Historical Romance.[4] Booklist wrote that "Clare turns up the sensual heal with a sizzling, sexy tale of a husband and wife engaged in a seductive battle of wits that proves to be splendidly entertaining."[5] Publishers Weekly, however, felt that the plot was thin, but helped by having strong secondary characters.[6]
Booklist called The Secret Desires of a Governess (2011) an "impeccably written novel."[7]
