Tiffany Stevens

Tiffany Stevens is an American professional softball player and former NCAA Division I athlete. She played collegiate softball for the University of Akron and signed a professional contract with the Coastal Bend Tidal Wave of Women’s Professional Fastpitch. Stevens gained regional recognition as a multi-sport athlete at Clay High School in Oregon, Ohio, earning district and state honors in softball and competing in varsity basketball.[1]

Early life and education

Stevens grew up in northwest Ohio and attended Clay High School in Oregon, Ohio, graduating in 2019.

High school career

Softball

During her senior season in 2019, Stevens was a key contributor to Clay’s Division I postseason run, providing speed and defensive skill in the outfield. She was named to the All-Ohio Second Team and received Three Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC) Player of the Year honors. Stevens also earned multiple All-District selections and academic recognition.[2][3]

She was highlighted in local media coverage for her contributions throughout the 2019 regular season and postseason.[4]

Stevens was also noted for her defensive play, including a standout over-the-fence catch during the 2019 Division I postseason that helped Clay secure a key victory.

Basketball

Stevens also played varsity basketball at Clay High School, participating in district tournament play and receiving mention in postseason previews during the 2017–18 season.[5]

College career

Stevens played NCAA Division I softball for the University of Akron from 2020 through 2024. She appeared in more than 200 games and was a consistent contributor in the outfield.[6]

In her final season in 2024, Stevens started 52 games and recorded 31 hits, including five doubles and two home runs. She contributed both offensively and defensively, and was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Softball Team.[7]

Stevens also earned recognition as an NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete during her collegiate career.[8]

Professional career

In June 2024, Stevens signed a professional contract with the Coastal Bend Tidal Wave of Women’s Professional Fastpitch after completing her collegiate career.[9]

Academics and personal life

Stevens was a Dean’s List student throughout her undergraduate career at the University of Akron. She later enrolled in graduate study in a Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Bowling Green State University.[10]
