Tika Waylan (23 October 332 AC-Winter, 420 AC) is a fictional character from the Dragonlance series of books created by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman.

Publication history[edit]

Tika first appeared in Dragons of Autumn Twilight in 1984. According to Hickman, when developing the Dragonlance series, the design group wanted the main group of characters to look like how a typical Dungeons & Dragons party might. Tika was created to fulfil the female Warrior (Dungeons and Dragons) role. [1] Margret Weis has stated that her Tika's physical appearance came about because "the artists wanted to have a 'babe' to paint."[2]
