Tim Branom

Tim Branom is an American Musician, Songwriter and Music Producer, born June 4th, 1965, originally from Seattle, WA.[1]

Musical Career[edit]

He is often associated with Alice In Chains because of his Production credit of singer Layne Staley’s first recordings with Alice N' Chains from 1986-1987.

In 1987, Branom’s band, Gypsy Rose, featured bassist Mike Starr, and very briefly, guitarist Jerry Cantrell, who both would form Alice in Chains with vocalist Layne Staley and drummer Sean Kinney.

Branom has worked on many albums in the areas of Mastering, Editing, Producing, and as a Musician. [2]

He has been a live and studio musician for bands such as Fifth Angel,[3] Days Of The New,[4] and Carly Smithson.[5]

Tim Branom is currently recording as a solo artist.[6]

His interviews about the Seattle pre-Grunge music scene are included in the following books:
