Tipax (Persian: تیپاکس) is a large Iranian company in Transportation and Logistics Industry based in Tehran.[1] This company delivers parcels door-to-door (Courier Service). Based on the first official public comprehensive report published in December 2021, Tipax had 9 million customers around the whole country in the past year. According to the report, the courier company delivered more than 13 million and 800 thousand parcels in the last year.[2]
By the end of the year 2020, Tipax had over 4500 employees and over 550 branches all over the country.[3][4][5]
History of Tipax
Tipax (formerly Part Agency) was founded in June 1960 by Mohammad Ali Fakher. It started in the office located in Naser Khosrow Street with branches in the cities of Abadan, Khorramshahr, Tabriz and Jolfa.[6]
The Tipax logo is derived from an ancient winged cow in Iranian culture (Lamassu). This logo was designed for the Tipax brand in 1960 in the form of a relief.
The company name is derived from the name of one of the commanders of the Achaemenid Dynasty named Tipax, who was the founder of Chapar Khaneh during the Achaemenid period.
MyTipax Application
MyTipax is a web-based and mobile Android application software that, after registration, users can use total in-app services like order submission, tracking, and observing processes from the beginning to the end of the operation, including when the receiver takes the parcel.
Tipax Pick-Up Capacity and Parcel Sorting Technology Development
The first automated parcel sorting hub started as a central hub in 2017 in Tehran. Then Tipax decided to build new hubs due to the potential for economic growth and the high growth rate of the postal and logistics market in Iran.
Tipax, with collaboration with Ti-Hub, one of the Fakher Holding companies, implemented the central hub to develop and improve sorting technology.
Tipax has collaboration with Digikala for delivering rejected products.[7]
