Tirtha Koirala

Tirtha Koirala is a Senior Veteran Journalist in Nepal with an experience of more than three decades. He currently holds the position of Chief Editor in one of the prominent Nepali online news portal - Thahakhabar.com.
Beginning his professional career as a report in weekly magazines of Nepal in the early 1980s, he has worked with several reputed media in Nepal. Prior to Thahakhabar, he led the team at Kantipur Television as the News Chief[1] for over a decade and as the Editor-in-Chief at Nepal Magazine. He has held several other reputable positions including Chairman at Radio Sagarmatha, Chairman at Nepal Television, Advisor at Institute of Human Rights Communication Nepal (IHRICON), President[2] at Nepal Press Institute (NPI), President[3] at Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists (NEFEJ), Advisor at Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ).
