Toby Osmond is an English actor whose work has included roles on stage, television, and film. He is best known for playing the Prince of Dorne in HBO's Game of Thrones[1] and Thomas Cromwell in the TV mini-series Henry VIII and His Six Wives.[2]

Early life[edit]

Osmond attended Teddington School at the same time as Keira Knightley, went to the same drama school as Tom Hardy and attended Richmond Adult Community College with Billie Piper.

Career[edit]

Osmond appeared in the TV series Back from the Dead in 2011, where he played Archer in the episode "Crusaders". He followed that up by appearing as a competition referee in 2011's On the Ropes and by playing Prisoner Brooks in 2016's Urban Decay. During this period he also appeared in the following shorts: The Lateness of the Hour; The Returner; Banana Pearl; Letter to Obama; The Team Went In; and Six Ghosts.

In 2018 he starred in the movie Black Site.[3]

Osmond's later roles have included: G-Loc (Rhean Captain); Stairs (Jack Ford); Summerland (Frank); Game of Thrones (Dornish Prince[4]); Black Site (August Kellerman); Hots for Shakespeare (Tom); Dark Beacon (Christian Gadsby); Modern Life Is Rubbish (The Vinyl Junkie); Kaufman's Game (Fader); The 12 Slays of Christmas: 6 Shooter (Man); Henry VIII and His Six Wives[5]: TV Mini-Series (Thomas Cromwell).
