Tōinchō Sports Park Athletic Stadium (Japanese: 東院町総合運動公園陸上競技場) is an athletic stadium located in Higashi-member Town, Yanben District, Mie Prefecture, Japan. The facility is owned by Tomancho, and Veertien Mie Family Club Co., Ltd. (the operating corporation of Veertien Mie) operates and manages it as the designated manager.

From February 2023, 5 (Reiwa 2), LA PITA Co., Ltd. acquired the naming rights and used the name LA PITA Touin Stadium (Lapita Touin Stadium) (described later)

Overview[edit]

It is an athletic stadium equipped with a 400m track and is also used for association football. It used to be a Japan Athletics Federation Class 3 official stadium, but the official recognition was abolished in October 2017 (Heisei 29).[1] It is used as the home ground by Veertien Mie of the Japan Football League (JFL). In November 2019, 11 (the first year of Reiwa), Veertien Mie Family Club Co., Ltd., the operating corporation of Veertien Mie, was selected as the designated manager, and the company paid the expenses to build the stadium in Mie Prefecture's as the first J League standard stadium. It was decided to renovate it with the aim of meeting the J league standards.[2]

Facility naming rights[edit]

From April 2020, 2 (Reiwa 4), Asahi Gas Energy, headquartered in Yokkaichi City and engaged in LP gas sales, signed a naming rights agreement with Veertien Mie, and announced that stadium would be known as ASAHI GAS ENERGY TOIN STADIUM. The contract period was for 1 year until March 2023, 5 (Reiwa 3 years). From February 3, 2023, The LA PITA Co., Ltd., headquartered in Yokkaichi City which plans, develops, manufactures, and sells disaster prevention supplies, had signed a naming rights agreement with Veertien Mie, and has signed a naming rights agreement with Veertien Mie, and has announced that stadium will be known as LA PITA TOIN STADIUM[3]. The contract period is for 3 years until January 2026.

The J3 license required for promotion to the J3 League, is the installation of floodlights to enable night games to be played. The lighting strength must be of 2023 lux or more and will be mandatory from 15:00 hours. During the 2023 JFL season, there will be seven-night games and nine twilight games to be played between July and September.
