Lonestar Void is a professional musician who mostly creates in the genre of rap. Lonestar Void has released two notable EPs, Lonestar’s Method & Heavens delayed in 2022, and Far From Lonestar in 2020. He has worked with a handful of artists including $not, Lil Tecca, Eye Keem, and 222Tr!n.[1]
History
Deus Illumni Lonestar, born on July 13, 1999z[2], better known by his stage name Lonestar Void, is an American rapper, singer, philosopher, and actor. Born in Bessemer, Alabama, a small town near Birmingham, Alabama. Lonestar first became involved with music as a child, but went through many nicknames before taking it more seriously in high school, where he gained inspiration to be called Tokyo SIN$ from the popular anime *Tokyo Ghoul*. After amassing a decent fanbase and relationships with well-known artists YBN Nahmir and Snot, Lonestar began to perform for clubs in the city of Birmingham, Alabama. He then sought to go even farther after releasing the well-known single “Hate Me” in 2017, which gave him the momentum he needed for his first music video, where he partnered with Niles Bryant. [2] Close to two years later, he dropped “2am,” which wouldn’t gain success until later years.
After this, he vanished and took a long hiatus, returning as Lonestar Void near the end of 2020.
Musical Style
Lonestar was extremely suppressed as a child growing up in Alabama but encountered interesting artists as he aged. Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Playboi Carti, and XXXTentacion first sparked his musical birth. However, his sound was strongly shaped by various artists such as Grouper, Smashing Pumpkins, and The Velvet Underground. He once stated in a tweet, "I don't just make whisper rap, I make whisper rap WITH SOUL" [3] [2]
