Thomas (Tom) Lash is an American politician and a member of the Green Party. Lash ran for California's 46th congressional district against incumbent Dana Rohrabacher in 2004 and 2008.[1] He was critical of the Iraq War, saying that, “this is one of the most immoral, illegal wars we’ve ever participated in.”[2] He has also attended protests against it.[3] He started in politics after working for Ralph Nader’s 2000 Presidential Campaign.[4]

Personal life[edit]

Thomas Wesley Lash was born on June 14, 1956 in Port Hueneme, California.[5] He later went on to serve in the U.S. Navy as a corpsman from 1976 to 1981.[6] He got a degree in microbiology from California State University, Long Beach. After he got his degree, he worked for the American Red Cross.[4]
