Tom Mueller
TomMueller is an American author and journalist. Born on November 15, 1963, he is a dual citizen of the United States and Italy. Mueller completed his higher education at Harvard University and University of Oxford, receiving a Bachelor of Arts and a doctorate, respectively. His academic achievements were supported by a Rhodes Scholarship.
Mueller began his professional career in 1990 at Goldman Sachs, where he worked until 1992. Since 1992, he has been a freelance writer, contributing to notable publications such as The New Yorker, National Geographic, The New York Times Magazine, and The Atlantic.
Mueller is known for his works, including "Extra Virginity: The Sublime and Scandalous World of Olive Oil" and "Crisis of Conscience: Whistleblowing in an Age of Fraud". He resides in Liguria, Italy, where he lives in a medieval stone farmhouse surrounded by olive groves.
