Jacob Tom de Nooijer (born 5 April 2000) is a Dutch politician and political commentator. Since 5 April 2018, he has been a municipal council member for the municipality of Oldebroek. In 2022, De Nooijer founded his own local party called Christian Association Oldebroek (Dutch: Christelijk Verbond Oldebroek) due to disagreements within the local SGP faction. In 2022, De Nooijer's party participated in the Municipal Council elections in Oldebroek and won three seats.[1]
Education
In 2018, De Nooijer completed his preparatory scientific education (VWO) at Lambert Franckens College in Elburg. Currently, he is pursuing a degree in Political Science at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). In 2021, he interned for the SGP faction in the House of Representatives.[2]
Filmography
In 2020, De Nooijer made his television debut when he participated in the program Onder 1 Dak (Under 1 Roof), which aired on NPO 3. From 2021 to 2023, De Nooijer served as a regular political commentator on BNR. In 2022, De Nooijer was followed by Rutger Castricum for the program Refolutie. Currently, De Nooijer frequently appears as a political commentator on programs such as Ongehoord Nieuws (ON!) and BLCKBX.[3][4]
