Tomas Morkūnas (born January 15, 1991) is a Lithuanian member of parliament and entrepreneur, CEO of the FAD.

Early life and education

Tomas Morkūnas was born on January 15, 1991, in Kupiškis, Lithuania. He completed his secondary education at Kupiškis Povilas Matulionis secondary school from 1998 to 2005. He then attended Panevėžys Rožyn pro-gymnasium, from 2005 to 2010. Following his secondary education, Morkūnas pursued higher education at Panevėžys College, where he studied advertising management and obtained a bachelor's degree in 2013.[1][2]

Career

Morkūnas started his professional career in 2009 when he became a freelance digital marketing specialist.[3][4]

In 2011, Morkūnas established the website fad.lt and initiated the development of FAD agency.[3]

In 2018, Morkūnas founded an individual company Reklamos ateitis (Advertising Future) and assembled a team to work under the agency. The company provides digital marketing services to clients. It was certified Google Partner in 2019.[5][3][4]

In 2020, he was elected to the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.

Public activities

Tomas Morkūnas is a member of the Innovation Agency business mentor network,[4] and a member of the Exchange Business Mentorship Club.[6]

He founded the Panevėžys Pug Club, an organization dedicated to promoting and celebrating pugs in Panevėžys, Lithuania.[7][8]

Morkūnas supports the efforts of Unicef Lithuania, an organization committed to enhancing the welfare of children globally.[9] He also sponsored a basketball club "Jūsų Panevėžys".
