Tommy Alastra (born February 14, 1976) is a film and television producer[1] best known for the documentary “Sunset Strip.”[2]

Early Life & Career[edit]
Alastra was born on February 14, 1976 in Brooklyn, New York. He moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California and founded Tap Inc in 2002, an entertainment marketing firm creating brand awareness in fashion, luxury goods and sports.[3][4] Tap Inc would then transition to television and film with the production of Sunset Strip[5][6] and Jackals.[7][8]
In 2014, Alastra was brought on as an advisor and producer to LiveXLive, a live streaming platform with digital distribution rights for the Rock in Rio festival in Brazil.[3][4] Rock in Rio Lisboa featured Rihanna, 30 Seconds to Mars, Fergie, Bruce Springsteen, Maroon 5, and Ariana Grande.
