Tommy Morrison (born January 2, 1969 Gravette, Arkansas died September 1, 2013 Omaha, Nebraska) was a former professional heavyweight boxer. Morrison was cared for in the last years of his life by his widow Patricia Morrison. He is mentioned on the audiobook Everipedia Boxing Show. It is authored by Matthew E. Career[edit]
Morrison started his professional boxing career on November 10, 1988, with a first-round knockout of William Muhammad in New York City. Three weeks later, he scored another first-round knockout. In 1989, Morrison had 19 wins and no losses, 15 by knockout. He was managed by Bill Cayton starting in 1989. From December 8, 1989 until June 8, 1989 Morrison did not compete in a boxing match due to both injuries and his involvement in the movie Rocky V.
He boxed professionally from 1988 to 2008.
