Sir Anthony Charles Lynton Blair was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1997-2007. He took over as Leader of the Labour Party in 1994 after John Smith's death and beat John Major's Conservative's in the 1997 General Election with 418 seats to 165. In the 2001 General Election he won again with 412 seats a decrease of only 6 seats. In 2003 Blair entered into a pointless war with Iraq who never had Nuclear Weapon's at all. In the 2005 General Election he won 355 seats down from last elections 412 but still enough for a comfortable win. In 2007 he resigned as Prime Minister and his Sedgefield seat.
