Tony Husband (broadcaster)
Tony Husband is a British sports broadcaster, working for the BBC. He presents sports news on BBC South Today and has hosted BBC Sport's award-winning Late Kick Off programme in the South, West and South West of England.
He joined the ranks of BBC Match of the Day commentators in December 2013. He has also commentated for the BBC Football League Show and is a regular reporter on the BBC's Final Score programme.
A keen follower of American sport, he has fronted BBC Radio 5 Live's NFL coverage and has also presented the BBC's Major League Baseball programming.
Tony commentates on global athletics events for the IAAF and has worked alongside the likes of Carl Lewis.
He started his career with BBC Radio Solent commentating on an FA Cup final. His football commentary and reporting career includes covering Champions League and UEFA/Europa League matches. He also appears regularly on BBC News and has commentated on the Premier League for BBC Radio 5 Live.
