Tony Williams Van wyk was born on 27 July 1972 in a town called Paarl western Cape province of South Africa. He was the first of four children. His mother, Fikzo Van Wyk was a Zulu woman, came from a wealthy family seemingly descended from the nineteenth century court painter . The couple married when farming provided reasonable hopes of financial security, however Van Wyk's father was never an efficient manager of the business. Little is known about his childhood other than that life was difficult. From as early as 1979, the family struggled financially, his father Marco van Wyk decided to travel abroad with his family by then Tony Williams Van Vyk was 7years old.[edit]
