Early life and Education
Tophia Janese Slydell was born on June 6, 1994 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her father Donald Fitzgerald Slydell, is a business major as well as a business owner who is currently in jail. Her mother Marie Bernice Lucero, is a stay at home mother of Hispanic descent. Her parents first met at a bar before being conceived, although it is believed that Donald may not be her biological father. She also has a brother named after her father, Donald Fitzgerald Slydell Jr.
During her childhood, her family was homeless and spent their time living at homeless shelters.
She graduated high school in 2012 and enrolled in University of New Mexico, but later dropped out.
Social Media Career
She was quite active on Musical.ly before it merged into Tiktok. Her first Tiktok video was posted on September 22, 2016. She went mainly unnoticed on Tiktok until 2020 where she started gaining more viewers and followers due to her duets and boss’s daughter series. She gained even more traction during mid 2022-mid 2023 due to her various life events such as attending a BTS concert in Las Vegas during 2022, having to stay at a shelter due to her apartment getting gassed by the swat team, eviction from the apartment, etc. Her fans/supporters call themselves, Chucrew. There have been various iterations of Chucrew discords with the first one being made on April 26, 2022, where her content gets discussed among other Chucrew members as well as where some trolling occurs. Her content now mainly consists of low effort but sometimes controversial videos/livestreams which often include racial/ethnic rants as well as complaints about her living situation. Since February 2023, she has enabled having subscriptions on her Tiktok account which gives more benefits to her subscribers over her livestreams.
Personal Life
During her school years, she got diagnosed with a learning disability. She has previously had heart surgery. She is a huge fan of BTS and Chris Brown. Her only job has been at a Dunkin' Donuts. She is known for being a huge consumer of Mountain Dew as well as maple bacon jerky. She has owned a car before obtaining a driver’s license. She has a dog named Hershey.
