Touro College Los Angeles (TCLA) is a division of Touro University Worldwide and is part of the Touro College and University System, a private, not-for-profit, coeducational institution based in New York City.[1] TCLA has separate men’s and women’s divisions. The College follows the operating model of Touro College in New York. Since 2009 TCLA has offered the Israel Option, a program that gives students a chance to finish extensive Jewish studies in Israel.[2]

Touro College Los Angeles accepted its first class of students in 2005.[3]
Rabbi David Jacobson, Ph.D., was appointed director of college affairs for Touro College Los Angeles (TCLA) in August 2015. He was appointed dean of TCLA in the fall 2016.[4]
Academics[edit]
Touro College Los Angeles is regionally accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.[5]. Students can pursue an undergraduate degree in Business Management and Administration, Psychology, or Judaic Studies. TCLA has added a health science concentration for those students who wish to pursue graduate school and professional opportunities in health science and medicine. Students can also study abroad with the TCLA Israel Option. [6]
