Toussaint Douglass
Toussaint Douglass is an actor, writer and stand-up comedian[1] best known for Yesterday, Today & the Day Before, Have I Got News for You and The Island[2] and has made various appearances and written for British panel shows.[3]
He started his career in stand-up in 2018.[4] His first appearance on television was BBC Presents: Stand Up For Live Comedy (BBC Three) in 2020.[5] The show's aim was to reinvigorate local live stand-up after the Covid-19 pandemic had put it on hiatus.[6] Toussaint performed in Glasgow[7] although he has talked about living in Lewisham.[8]
He has taken part in comedy competitions such as Up the Creek’s One to Watch 2019 where he was chosen as the runner-up[9] and Frog & Bucket’s Beat The Frog World Series 2019 where he won The Panel Prize.[10]
