Toy Newkirk (born July 27, 1972) is an American actress and producer best known for her starring role as Sheila Kopecky in A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master. She also works as producer, writer & director.
At 5 years old, Toy booked her first acting job with a national “Tide” Commercial. She subsequently worked on shows including “Little Lulu”, to lending an animated voice to the cartoon “Karate Kid”, “The Commish”, “OJ Simpson Story”, “227”, “Bustin Loose” & “Living Single”, “90210” and “A Different World”.
With a deep history in all media genres from feature films, scripted TV and un-scripted (reality) to digital programming; Toy has produced shows for networks such as FOX, WE, Bravo, NBC, E! etc. Toy has developed, formatted, and delivered programming for shows such as biographies of Vanessa Williams, Billy Joel & The Eagles, HBO’s Tracey Ullman special, E! Network's Gastineau Girls, Discovery Science's Ingenious Minds, InDemand Howard Stern TV, to name a few. Her next move was into the digital world working for Hulu on an original program, The Morning After.
