Toy from Hell is a 2020 American low budget horror film directed by Sheyanne Parkhurst and starring Gabriel Finch and Madisen Mayhugh.

Plot[edit]

A young boy buys a stuffed animal frog from a girl. Unknown to him, The stuffed animal is possessed by an evil spirit and it terrorizes him.

Production[edit]

The film was shot in two days (February 17, 2020 – February 18, 2020).[1]

Release[edit]

After the film was finished, Gabriel Finch actually finished production and had released it to YouTube and when it was done uploading. He had sent it out and actually DM the link on Instagram to his followers and friends and has currently 54 views on YouTube.[2]

Reception[edit]

When Gabriel Finch DM the film link to his friends and followers. He got a lot of great feedback like "This deserves an Emmy" and former dancer at the Paramount Theatre (Anderson, Indiana) and close friend of Finch, Danica Carr had said "You are talented".[3]

Trivia[edit]

Gabriel Finch tried using Plastic Wrap to close up the box that the toy came in. The frog used in the film is actually Gabriel Finch's stuffed animal. The film was edited on the app "InShot". The end credits were made on WeVideo. Sheyanne Parkhurst and Gabriel Finch were having trouble deciding how Finch's death should be, so Finch put a poll on Instagram to see which would have the most voters. Gabriel Finch struggles a lot dubbing his scream sound effects and it took him so many tries. The girl that gives Devin the toy was originally gonna be actress "Sheyla Parkhurst" but, The role was then given to "Madisen Mayhugh".[5]
