Tralalero Tralala
Tralalero Tralala is an Italian Brainrot character. He is an athletic great white shark with 3 legs and 3 blue Nike shoes.
History
Precursor
In October of 2023, Internet users would create various Italian memes about Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson where he rhymes about absurd topics. In one video by TheZano, The Rock would use the nonsense word "Tralalero tralala", and would later rhyme it with "smerdo pure nell’aldilà" ("I die even in the afterlife").[1]
Creation
The origin of the character and Italian brainrot in general is hard to pinpoint.[2] The creation of Tralalero Tralala is often credited to previously banned Tiktok user @eZburger401, of whom allegedly created the character in January 2025. The video was accompanied by an audio where a male Italian voice ranted about playing Fortnite with his son, only to be interrupted by his grandmother.[3] The audio contains "blasphemy", or more accurately, bestemmia, as the audio curses out Allah and God in Italian.[4][3] Some sources like Vulture state Tiktok user @burgermerda created the audio in September 2024, had it reuploaded by @Ezburger401, and than paired with a photoshopped shark-seagull hybrid by user @elchino1246 in 2025.[lower-alpha 1][1] Vulture further states that it was user @iamtralalelotralalahot who first paired the audio with an AI-generated shark with shoes,[1] whilst The Daily Dot states it was @amoamimandy.1a who created the pairing.[3]
Characteristics
Tralalero Tralala is athletic, being able to run at superhuman speeds and having high jump lengths.[5]
