Treble (handball)

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Triple in handball is achieved when a club team wins three trophies in a single season. A continental treble involves winning the club's national league competition, main national cup competition, and main continental trophy.

The first club to achieve a Triple was Zamalek SC in 1979, winning the Egyptian League and Egyptian Cup, African Champions League.

The team that holds the record for the most Trebles is GS Pétroliers, with a total of 9.

Competitions which consist of a single match or a two-leg match are not normally counted as part of a treble.
