Trevon Diggs is an American football cornerback for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
College career[edit]
On November 7, 2015, Diggs committed to playing college football for Alabama.[1] After playing wide receiver his freshman year and catching 11 passes or 88 yards, as well as returning 7 kickoffs for 166 yards and 13 punts for 130 yards, Diggs transitioned to cornerback prior to the 2017 season.[2] During his Sophomore year, Diggs had 6 tackles and 3 pass breakups in addition to 154 punt return yards and 74 kickoff return yards. During a game against Arkansas during his Junior year, Diggs broke his foot and was out indefinently.[3]
Personal life[edit]
Diggs' Brother, Stefon Diggs, is currently a wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings.
Diggs has two brothers Darez (born 1995) and Stefon (born 1993). All three brothers played football at three different high schools. Stefon Diggs played for Our Lady of Good Counsel in Olney, Maryland while Darez Diggs played for Friendship Collegiate Academy Public Charter School in Washington, DC. His father Aron Diggs died in January 2008 at the age of 39 due to congestive heart failure.[4] Darez currently plays for the University of Alabama at Birmingham Blazers[5] while Stefon currently plays for the Minnesota Vikings.
