Trevor Forrest is a Jamaican technology entrepreneur and cybersecurity consultant. He is the founder and chief executive officer of 876 Technology Solutions. Forrest has been quoted in Jamaican news media on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, and has served on Jamaican public bodies related to information and communications technology.[1]

Forrest is CEO of 876 Technology Solutions. A 2014 Gleaner profile described the firm’s areas of work as website design, cloud hosting and document management.[2] He has been cited in coverage of cybersecurity incidents and business risk in Jamaica.[3][4]

Public service

Forrest has held roles on Jamaican public sector boards in the ICT sector. He served as chairman of the Spectrum Management Authority and as deputy chairman of the Universal Service Fund; the Fund’s 2017–2018 annual report lists him as deputy chairman, and the 2018–2019 report lists him in governance committee membership.[5][6] He was a member of Jamaica’s National Artificial Intelligence Task Force, whose final policy recommendations were published by the Office of the Prime Minister in 2025.[7]
