TripZilla is a Private Travel Magazine startup in Southeast Asia headquartered in Singapore.[1][2], a member of Travelogy group which is one of the most visited online Travel Magazine in the country[3] and in South East Asia[4][5]. The magazine is aimed to provide travelers with authentic and valuable information for their adventures[6].
History
The company was founded in 2010 by Winnie Tan[7] – a pioneering woman in the startup environment[8] and an experienced business woman[9]. The company started its business with the first portal Tripzilla.sg and then Tripzilla.com[10]. They are considered a competitor of TripAdvisor in SEA[11] and Singapore's outbound one-stop site[12][13]. With the current development of AI-assisted digital travel assistant[14], they are planning to gain more power in the travel industry.

In 2012, Travelogy acquired Nearby.sg[15]
In September 2012, Travelogy secured S$250,000 (US$ 199,776) in funding from Crystal Horse Investments[16] and the Singapore Media Development Authority via the i.JAM Reload scheme
In 2013, the company expanded its business to Malaysia[17][18] with Tripzilla Malaysia
In 2014, they opened the Tripzilla Vietnam portal[19] – Tripzilla Vietnam
In 2016, they introduced Tripzilla Excellence Award, which is trusted by many big organizations like Sentosa Singapore.[20]
In 2018, HalalZilla came into business.
In 2019, featured in the most well-known travel marketing summit in Asia Mumbrella Asia Travel Marketing Summit [21].
