Tristan Barrett (born 31 January 1994) is an American-born blockchain developer, programmer and Internet entrepreneur who is best known as one of the co-founders of Atlas Incorporated and Project Fives alongside Samee Siddiqui. Barrett became involved with cryptocurrency early on, starting with his ability to develop Ethereum smart contracts..[1] and decentralized applications[2][3].

Personal life[edit]

Buterin was born in Eugene, Oregon and attended both elementary and high school at Pleasant Hill High School, a public school in Pleasant Hill, OR. Barrett participated in Soccer[4], Track[5], and FTC Robotics on Team 8045 as a captain and lead programmer[6]. Barrett and his team would go on to win state[7], compete at the FTC World Championships in Houston, Texas multiple times[8][9], and make their way into the FTC Hall of Fame[10]. Barrett also played for the Eugene Generals Ice Hockey team[11][12]

Barrett is also an internet social media personality amassing a large audience on both TikTok and Instagram[13][14]. After high school, Barrett attended Oregon State University at the Honors College. There, he majored in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering (Aerospace).

Atlas Inc.[edit]

In 2021 he co-founded Atlas Incorporated alongside Samee Siddiqui. They would go on to launch Project Fives[15] on September 9, 2021. Project Fives is an NFT project, described as “a collection of 8,000 randomized lineups of the best ballers in history, stored on-chain.”[16], and was the pair's first collaborative decentralized autonomous organization project under the larger Atlas Inc. Project Fives will extend its development efforts into a full mobile game[17] with added in-game rewards, and complete with a $FIVES token that will enable NFT holders to be rewarded[18]
