Tristan Horak (born 2 July 2000) is a South African Rugby Union player, who currently plays for RC Mountfield Říčany in the Extraliga Rugby XV and the Bohemia Rugby Warriors[3] in the Rugby Europe Super Cup competitions. His regular position is flyhalf.
Rugby career[edit]
Senior[edit]
In April 2019, Horak made his debut off the bench for RC Mountfield Říčany and scored his first try for his new club.
Since then, he has become one of the leading point scorers[4] in the Czech Rugby Union's domestic Extraliga competition. In September 2021 Horak scored a record 45 points[5] in RC Mountfield Ricany's 0:85 win[6] against the Czech Republic's oldest rugby club, RC Slavia Prague.
In May 2024 Horak will meet the eligibility criteria[7] as set by World Rugby for selection by the Czech National Rugby Team.[8]

2022 Czech Rugby Union - Player of the Year[edit]
Horak was nominated for the Czech Rugby Player of the Year award in both 2021 and 2022. In 2022 he became the first foreign player in the history of the Czech Rugby Union to win this prestigious award.[9]
