Triumph united
Triumph*United produces apparel and equipment for Mixed Martial Arts, Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu and Boxing. Triumph*United was registered as a trademark in 2009.[1]
History[edit]
Triumph*United was founded by Hans Molenkamp in 2007 in sunny Oceanside, California. Originally conceived as a marketing agency for athletes, the logo and name drew attention when Quinton "Rampage" Jackson displayed the Triumph*United logo on his fight shorts during his fight against Chuck Liddell. After defeating Liddell, Jackson became popular, and demand for Triumph*United increased. Triumph*United has sponsored rising MMA fighters such as Kimbo Slice, Jason "Mayhem" Miller, Travis Browne, Clay Guida, Wanderlei Silva and UFC president Dana White. Along with sponsoring MMA athletes T*U sponsors Muay Thai fighters like John Wayne Parr, and several Jiu Jitsu athletes.[citation needed]
In 2008 Triumph*United and Osiris Shoes collaborated on the first ever MMA signature shoe with Quinton "Rampage" Jackson.[2]
In 2009 Triumph*United created the walk out shirt for Nick Swardson for his Comedy Central Stand Up feature.[3][4] In 2010 Triumph*United produced Simon Rex (Dirt Nasty) Steak and Mash potatoes video featuring Charlie Sheen.[citation needed]
