Troy Abbs is an American football coach. He is the head football coach at Trine University in Angola, Indiana[2] a position he has held since the 2015 season.[3][4][5] He led his teams to the Division III National Champoinship Playoff in 2017[6] and 2018. In 2017, he was named Division III Region 4 Coach of the Year by the American Football Coaches Association[1]

For 2020-2021, he led the team through a "split season" with two games played in fall 2020 and the remaining games scheduled five months later in the spring of 2021.[7]
