Truck & Logistics Simulator[1][2] is a 2020 driving simulator game developed by Simula Games and published by Aerosoft.[1] The game contains curtain tasks to earn money as doing Cargo shipment, Packages and more.
Gameplay
Players start off with a starter vehicle as a van which they can use and pick up deliveries as Packages using a forklift to put them in the vehicle and take them to the destination to where the package is meant to be delivered. Players can earn money from delivering packages which allows them to buy other various vehicles which then can be used for other uses and can be used to fill up on Gasoline for vehicles. Freeways are used for travelling to Towns and Cities across the map to deliver packages.[1]
Development
The game was released on Steam and Nintendo Switch on June 23, 2020.[3] The game studio released vehicles similar to real life vehicles with the map letting players deliver packages across the map. In 2022, the game studio released more vehicles to the game.[4] On November 30, 2023, the game was officially released on multiple devices.[3] In 2024, the game released customisable settings for vehicles and added improvements.[5] In 2026, the game received massive changes as a map expansion and more.
Reception
On Unaltered, Alexander Weng says that "Truck & Logistics Simulator offers a great deal of simulation fun. Besides the 20 different vehicles, the 24 km² world, and the seemingly endless combinations of missions, cross-platform multiplayer is also included. However, the game isn't finished yet, as the developers revealed in an interview that they still have a lot planned – which is why the game will remain in Early Access on Steam until the end of the year. Anyone worried that the Switch version will stay the same can rest assured: it too is constantly being developed. Since there's no Early Access program on Nintendo's console, the developers had to take the path of patches."[6]
On Gamesight, Jan says that "It's a niche genre on consoles, but as someone who's fascinated by the fact that Switch gets titles that used to be exclusively for PC, I'm glad to see that simulation games increasingly find their way to the platform. Truck and Logistics Simulator is not a perfect game, but it offers an accessible and satisfying experience for both new players and fans of the genre. If you like managing logistics and driving a wide range of vehicles, then this title is definitely worth a try."[7] The game has a 6/10 rating on Steam saying that "it's a good game for people who like roleplay games or truck games while most of the reviews being positive and negative.[8]
