Tudela Futbol Club Los Angeles is competitive soccer-specific sports club founded by former professional soccer player and manager Jacob Tudela in 2017. As of 2018, it was re-imagined as an all-girls’ club. It is currently located in Los Angeles, California using schools throughout the LA area has home grounds.

History[edit]

Tudela Futbol Club is a competitive sports club loosely located in Newburgh, Indiana. It was founded in 2014 by the Tudela family. In 2017, Jacob, the second-to-youngest of Fernando Tudela’s children, established a branch of the club in Los Angeles. In late 2017, the club released around 70 male players re-identifying itself as all-girls’.[1]

Jacob Tudela[edit]

Jacob Tudela is the executive director of Tudela FC Los Angeles. He played with the Reitz Panthers under Keith Vonderegh. Tudela played college soccer with the Indiana Hoosiers. He professionally debuted for Bolivian club Real Santa Cruz. Tudela was involved in a transfer rumor with the Los Angeles Galaxy, but he closed the possibility due a knee injury in 2009. Tudela professionally managed Beach FC, Los Angeles United, Downtown SC, and the South Bay Force. He assisted his older brother, Jeremy, with co-ownership of Tudela Soccer Academy, and he formerly managed the Pali Blues.

Chelsea Braun[edit]

In high school, UCLA graduate Chelsea Braun captained the Woodside Wildcats and the her club team, the De Anza Force. She won numerous awards with the UCLA Bruins. Braun serves as a multi-team coach and instructor for TFCLA. She is also involving in the Today You Dream It program.[2]
