Tuma Basa
Tuma Basa (born ?) is the Director of Urban Music at YouTube.[1] [2]
Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tuma attended University of Iowa for undergrad[3] and earned his MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.[4]
Prior to YouTube, Tuma served as global programming head of hip-hop at Spotify, where he was responsible for curating popular playlists for the service, including RapCaviar, one of Spotify's biggest and most popular playlists with over 9 million followers.[5] [6]
