Tutas lietas is a series of video stories created in Latvia for the target audience of children aged 2-5 years. The author of the program idea is Marta Selecka, who in 2018 created a children's series together with a group of like-minded people.[1] The first episode of the program was filmed on March 8, 2018 (it was broadcast for the first time on smart TV LMT Straume in June 2018). The main emphasis in the plot is on getting to know the world through games and songs. The main character of the show, the cheerful and kind-hearted Tuta (played by Liene Sebre [2]), together with her play friends, Lapsa, Feneks and Āpsītis, creates a friendly and safe environment for children to learn new knowledge and skills.[3]

The series was filmed by cameramen Dāvis Doršs, Baiba Kļava, Kaspars Cirsis, Jānis Šēnbergs, Mārcis Ābele, etc. The scenarios were created by Inga Mastiņa, Elizabete Lukšo-Ražinska, Lote Eglīte, Luize Pastore, etc. The author and performer of the music for Tuta's songs is the singer and composer Laura Polence[5], but the song lyrics are written by Kārlis Vērdiņš, Edvards Kuks, Elizabete Lukšo-Ražinska, Inga Mastiņa and Jana Egle. Ilze Žūriņa-Šeibaka, the artist of the program, created a creative visual mood that is engaging for children.[6]
The series is produced by the children's content producer "Ausma" (SIA "Ausma Media", formerly SIA "Tuta Media")[7].
