Ty the Tasmanian Tiger Zoetrope
The Ty the Tasmanian Tiger Zoetrope was commissioned by ACMI in 2009 following the success of Pixar's Toy Story zoetrope that was displayed at ACMI as part of the Pixar: 20 Years of Animation exhibition. The Ty zoetrope is based on the cartoon character, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, the star of a videogame series from Krome Studios.[1] The zoetrope is now housed in ACMI's permanent, free exhibition Screen Worlds.
Creation[edit]
Krome animator John Aitchison worked closely with ACMI to create the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger zoetrope. The technical side of the build was facilitated by RapidPro and Megafun.[2]
