Tykhe Block Ventures Inc is a USA registered financial services company offering investors broad exposure to the Web3 and Blockchain Ecosystem. They invest in ventures within the blockchain sector with a focus on decentralisation technologies, digital assets and their key enabling infrastructure. They are one of the few VCs in APAC that are exclusively focused in blockchain & Web3 and have a Web3 native team. The firm was founded in 2021 and is led by Prashant Malik, one of the top angel investors in SEA (wrote initial cheques to unicorns like Urbanclap, Ofbusiness, Shadowfax, Coinswitch etc.) and a globally recognized technologist (Inventor: Apache Cassandra | Ex- Facebook Employee | IIT Delhi Comp Sc 1995). Other prominent partners include Abhineet Sonkar, Ganesh Kompella, Tanuj Moorjani, Neeraj Bagdia, Karan Ahuja.
In 2022, it launched its first $30M blockchain growth investment fund focused on investing in companies that are built on trustless infrastructure, are removing intermediaries through smart contracts and who are empowering their users by giving full ownership of their data, identity, security and transactions. As of December 2022, they have made investments into some of the biggest Web3 companies like Trust Machines, FanTiger, Dwallet Labs etc.
