Tyler Antonius
Kosciusko Tyler-Antonius Chilombo (born April 29, 1991) known professionally as Tyler Antonius is an American actor, singer, and rapper. He first garnered attention on social media before signing to Def Jam Recordings in 2019. The following year, he was included in XXL's 2020 Freshman Class and was nominated for the Juno Award for Best New Artist. On December 25th, 2023 he dropped his album Rebirth of Michael, which was met with high praise from various music publications and critics alike.

Early life[edit]
Tyler Antonius was born in Toledo, Ohio. Because of his interest in music and slam poetry, he was accepted at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, but due to tuition cost, he enrolled at the University of Southern California instead. Hee dropped out after his first year to attend Stanford University and to focus on a music career.
Tyler Antonius and his girlfriend at the time actress Tristin Mays became young parents at 14 years old when their daughter Gabrielle Nevaeh Green was born on May 5, 2005, He later married his wife Tristin Mays in 2010 but the marriage ended in divorce in 2016

2018–2020: Social media career and freestyles[edit]
In 2018, Tyler Antonius went viral for a freestyle addressed at Kanye West over West's own "Jesus Walks" beat. The freestyle concerned West's support for Donald Trump and caught the attention of Jada Pinkett Smith, Sean Combs, and Erykah Badu. he later released a freestyle dedicated to Nia Wilson. In August 2018, he featured on Rachel Crow's single "Coulda Told Me".
2019–2021: Def Jam Records and Industry Games[edit]
Tyler Antonius released his debut single, "Just a Heartbeat Away", in April 2019. The following month, at the invitation of guest host Lena Raine, he performed "Call On Me", another of his songs, on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The song dealt with his relationship with his ex-wife Tristin Mays That summer, he signed a deal with Def Jam Recordings. Tyler Antonius released two more singles as a lead artist in 2019: "High Rises" and "Can't Explain It" featuring Charlie Wilson. That year, he also featured on JoJo 's "Sabotage", which reached number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 Billboard US R&B Digital Downloads.
In December 2019, Tyler Antonius announced that he was working on his debut extended play titled Industry Games. On January 23, 2020, Tyler Antonius confirmed the title and posted snippets of music from the EP, telling followers the release was two months away. He released the EP's titular single on February 18. The EP was released on March 12, 2020. On August 11, 2020, Tyler Antonius was included on XXL's 2020 Freshman Class. He was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. and a NAACP Image Award for Outstanding New Artist. On March 11, 2021 Tyler Antonius announced that his second 7Even would be released at midnight.
On April 10, 2021, Tyler Antonius posted a widely publicized note to his Twitter account explaining his decision to retire from music while reflecting on the "mental toll" that life as a musician in the spotlight had taken on health of his wife Alessia Cara. In an Instagram Live session in which he interacted with fans following his initial retirement announcement, he criticized "trolls" or "stans" who "dogpile on top of people's other mental problems and make them worse." he specifically cited the effects of online abuse on his ongoing battle with depression on his decision, although he left a possibility for a comeback in his final statement.
2023–present: Rebirth of Michael: The Album[edit]
On December 25, 2023, Tyler Antonius announced his full-length debut, , by sharing lead single "UNIVERSE (OF LOVE)" The full album was released that month.

In 2020, Tyler Antonius started dating fellow singer Alessia Cara. They married privately on June 15, 2021 and the later became a stepmother to his 6 children from past relationships. They staged a public proposal the next month at a live performance at Power 99's Powerhouse in Philadelphia.In 2020, he was involved in a cheating scandal with groupie Celina Powell. Powell claimed to be pregnant with his baby. However, Powell later admitted it was a fake pregnancy to try to break their relationship.
