Tyler Tuari-Bentley (born 6 April 1998)  is a New Zealand professional rugby league footballer who plays as an outside back for the Sydney Roosters in the NRLW.

Background & Early Life[edit]

Born and raised in Wainuiomata, Lower Hutt, Bentley is of Samoan and Māori descent. She started playing her junior rugby in Year 11 for St Catherine's College, where she was teammates with Black Fern Joanah Ngan-Woo, and for the Ories rugby club.

She played rugby league and rugby union in the Wellington region[1][2] before being signed by the Sydney Roosters in 2023.[3]

Playing career[edit]

2018[edit]

On October 6, Bentley debuted for Wellington Pride[4] against Taranaki. The Pride were crowned winners of the Farah Palmer Cup Championship .[5]

2022[edit]

Bentley was selected in the Wellington Orcas squad for the NZRL Women’s Championship.[6] She scored a brilliant try off the bench in a narrow loss against the Auckland Vulcans in the final.[7][8]

2023[edit]

On 16 September, Bentley made her NRLW debut in round 9, for the Roosters on the wing against the North Queensland Cowboys.[9]
