The Type 93 (PP-93) mortar is a 60mm lightweight long-range infantry mortar in service with the People's Liberation Army Ground Forces, providing artillery support at the company level. It is an extended range development of the PP-89 60mm mortar, with a maximum range of 5500m. Its full combat weight is 22.9kg with a sustained fire rate of 20 rounds per minute and can fire a variety of munitions.
