The UAZ-3303 is a Soviet pickup truck manufactured at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. Currently, modifications of UAZ-330365 and UAZ-330945 with the engine ZMZ-40911.10 (Euro-5) are being produced.
It was based on UAZ-452 chassis with a cab for two people and a flatbed at the back.
In 1966-1985 it was called UAZ-452D. The cabin is an all-metal, two-seater, with two side doors and a removable engine cover. Various modifications of the car could have both wooden and metal platforms.
History
It was developed to replace the corresponding models of the previous families of trucks - UAZ-450D and UAZ-451DM. In May 1966, the car was awarded the VDNKh Gold Medal. In 1976, the State Committee of Standards under the Council of Ministers of the USSR issued a certificate No. 28306 for the assignment of the State Quality Mark to the UAZ-452D car. The UAZ-3303 was offered for export to Western Europe by the Scaldia company under the name Volga-UAZ.
Like the UAZ-452, the UAZ-3303 produced between 1966–1979 were equipped with old-style lights: turn signal lights were colorless (white), and rear lights were rectangular. Subsequent post-1979 models got amber (yellow) signal lights, and rear lights were slightly bigger.
Modifications
UAZ-3303 was often used as a base for small-scale modifications. Some small-scale produced models were for transporting milk, utility cars, as well as with the body 452D "loaf" on low-pressure tires. In 1985-2017, the car was equipped with engines UMZ-414, UMZ-4178, UMZ-4179, UMZ-4218, UMZ-4213, ZMZ-4021, ZMZ-4104, ZMZ-409 and ZMZ-4091.10.
The UAZ-39095 is a truck with a 340 mm width between the doors and the back wall, and a wheelbase stretched by 230 mm.
Current modifications of the UAZ-3303 family as of 2021:
UAZ-330365 is a modification with an increased to 2.55 m wheelbase, a metal or wooden platform with a payload capacity of 1225 kg, from 2018 is produced as a base with the engine of ZMZ-40911.10 of the 5th environmental class.
The UAZ-330945 "Farmer" is a truck extended to 2.55 m with a wheelbase, a 5-seater cabin and an on-board platform with a payload capacity of up to 1025 kg with two folding two-seater benches. Engine - ZMZ-40911.10 of the 5th environmental class.
