UNCOMBED BUDDHA PVT. LTD. is an independent film production and distribution company. It works in all stages of the filmmaking process, from development through distribution, for both documentary and feature films. They collaborate with talented filmmakers and unite them with other film production companies, financiers, and philanthropists to help create powerful motion pictures and endeavour to bring them to as wide an audience as possible.
About the Name[edit]
As per the promoters, Uncombed Buddha signifies “finding Peace in Chaos” - which is a reality of life. As a film production company, the promoters intend to depict such realities of life through the medium of cinema. This unconventional name for a film production company garnered a lot of attention.

Promoted by young Indian entrepreneurs Aditya Grover and Harsh Agarwal, Uncombed Buddha began with a love for movies and a passion for storytelling. The promoters say that their philosophy is to approach everything they do as if it was a movie. This finds its way into every aspect of their process and is reflected in what they make and how they make it.

After having worked on several short films, in January 2018, Uncombed Buddha has now ventured into full-feature motion picture production, including documentaries. With the intent of revolutionising the way people consume world cinema, the promoters aim towards delivering high-class cinematic production values and storytelling experiences, whether the film is meant for the big screen or your mobile phone.
