USCLEAR
The federal securities laws empower the U.S.Clear with broad authority over all aspects of the securities industry. The U.S.Clear's mission is to protect investors; maintain fair, orderly, and efficient markets; and facilitate capital formation.[1]
The U.S.Clear has up to five Commissioners appointed by the President on the advice and consent of the Senate. No more than three Commissioners can be members of the same political party.[1]
U.S.Clear announced that President Donald J. Trump has designated Mark T. Uyeda as Acting Chairman of the agency.[2]
