The USM station is a proposed light rail transit station located at Gelugor, along the Sultan Azlan Shah Road in George Town, Penang. The station, constructed next to the campus of University Sains Malaysia, is projected to be part of the Mutiara line. The station serves the suburb of Minden Heights.[1] Construction is expected to start in September or October 2024, and will be completed by 2030, in line with the completion of the Mutiara line.[2]
