She was the daughter of Supreme Court Marshal Count Adam Gottlob Moltke and his first wife Christiane Frederikke Brüggmann and was married on 7 January 1757 in Christiansborg Palace Chapel to Count Hans Schack of Schackenborg (1735-1796).[1]

From 7 January to 8 March 1757 she was lady-in-waiting to Queen Juliane Marie and on 31 March 1758 became Dame de l'union parfaite.[1]

She died already at the age of 22 and is buried in Schack's Chapel in Møgeltønder Church.[1]
