Ultra Q, formerly Mt. Eddy, is a punk band formed in Oakland, California in 2019.[1] They have released 2 albums, 2 EPs, and 1 single.

History and Releases[edit]

The band was formed by Jakob Armstrong, Enzo Malaspina, and Chris Malaspina. They renamed themselves when Kevin Judd joined the band.[2] They are signed to Royal Mountain Records.

The band's first release was an EP titled We're Starting to get Along in 2019.

The following year they would release their first album, In a Cave in a Video Game. This album was created entirely by Jakob Armstrong with inputs from his band members via videocalls. The band was unable to meet with each other and record together due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.[3]

In 2021, they released their second EP, Get Yourself a Friend. The band had help on the album from PUP's lead vocalist, Stefan Babcock.[4]

In 2022, the band released their single, I Watched Them Go.

In 2023, they would release their second album, My Guardian Angel. Producer Chris Coady worked on the album with Ultra Q at his house.[5]
