Umatilla School District
Umatilla School District #6R:[1] is a school district in the U.S. state of Oregon that serves the City of Umatilla. It is the third largest fourth largest school district in Umatilla County serving just over 1,400 students (as of May 2021). The Umatilla High School four year graduation rate for the class of 2020 was 93.7%, 10.44% above Oregon's state average of 82.63%.[2] The District supports students seeking college credits in high school by fully funding the books, tuition and fees for any college credits that contribute to a career certification or Associates of Arts degree from Blue Mountain Community College[3]. The investment allowed 68% of 2020 graduates to leave Umatilla High with 3 college credits or more, and 12.4% of them graduated with their Associates of Arts Transfer (AAOT) degree from Blue Mountain Community College and their high school diploma through UHS concurrently.[4]
